There are many things that are important to your finding the right niche to go in business online. If you have been following my series of articles, you know this is just one of seven.

Key to you having success is having experience with whatever you want to sell online. Since I highly recommend you start online with information products, your knowledge and experience within your chosen niche will be key. This is true for creating your own product, blogging in your niche, and selling affiliate products in your niche.
You already know that a key criteria for a profitable niche is that there must be problems to solve. That’s the whole point of being in business. So then it is clearly a fact that you must know something about the problems in order to be effective in your chosen niche.
This doesn’t mean you had to spend your whole life doing things in the niche to be knowledgeable and effective. You maybe only started your passion for something only a few months ago. However, if you were so drawn to it that you read up and participate in the action and discussion on a very regular basis, you may well be very much the expert – or at least have all the expertise you need to get stared in your online business.
This is where my previous requirement for you to list your passions and identify problems in your niche comes into play. You see, if you were able to readily identify the problems in your proposed niches, that is a sure indicator you know a lot about the niche.
Now, if you know the resources to search and study to solve the problems, then you you definitely have got what it takes to proceed one of the niches you outlined.
If you know all these things, then you are ready to do the most important thing, and that is to decide on an appropriate business model of your online business. I have an article coming soon to cover this. So don’t be in too much of a hurry to dive in.
There is still more analysis to be done. But if you have determined you have the experience it takes to get noticed in your niche, then it is time to start looking forward and outline the rest of your business undertaking.
